I've spent more than 25 years helping organizations solve problems, strengthen their marketing, and make better business decisions.
Over the course of my career, I've led marketing teams, built brands, owned an agency, served in executive leadership roles, worked with nonprofits and businesses of all sizes, and partnered with organizations navigating growth, change, and new opportunities.
I've learned that marketing rarely exists in a vacuum. The best decisions happen when you understand the bigger picture, and that's the perspective I bring to every engagement.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or recommending the latest marketing trend just because it's popular. Every organization is different, and the right answer depends on your goals, your resources, your team, and where you're headed.
My role is to ask good questions, bring an experienced outside perspective, and help you make decisions you can feel confident about.
Beyond Consulting
In addition to my consulting work, I'm the founder of North & Now, a strategic marketing consultancy focused on supporting women-owned and women-led businesses.
I'm also a partner in The JAR Collective, where we combine expertise in operations, brand strategy, and marketing to help organizations solve complex business challenges.
After more than two decades in executive leadership and marketing, I wanted to create space for work that fueled my creative side. That's what led me to launch A Sharp View, a home preparation and consulting business that combines my love of marketing, design, real estate, and hands-on problem-solving. Building and growing a business in a completely different industry has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and it keeps me connected to the realities of entrepreneurship and the challenges business owners face every day.
I'm also an adjunct instructor, teaching marketing at the college level. Whether I'm working with clients, building businesses, or teaching future marketers, I enjoy sharing what I've learned while continuing to learn myself.
My Approach
I work collaboratively, communicate honestly, and focus on practical recommendations that move organizations forward.
Sometimes that means mentoring a marketing leader, evaluating an agency relationship, helping build a stronger marketing function, or developing a marketing strategy. Sometimes it's simply asking the questions no one inside the organization has had time to ask.
Whatever the engagement looks like, my goal is the same: to help organizations make better marketing decisions and build a stronger foundation for future growth.
